Ruby Bridges

Ruby Bridges was only a six year old girl the the time she became the first African-American student at William Frantz Public School in New Orleans, LA. It was just like every other school de-segregation story. She was escorted to school everyday by US Marshals and was mocked and ridiculed the whole walk from her car to the school doors. Prying was her solution. Everyday in the car ride to school she would pray to keep safe and even one day she prayed for the white people who hated her.
